The HONOR 600 strikes a nice middle ground between practicality and personality. It handles daily tasks without any trouble, and then surprises you with AI features that can turn photos into short, animated clips. It’s practical on the surface, but with a bit of playful energy underneath.
Design and build
The HONOR 600 doesn’t try to hide its influences. With its flat sides, familiar camera layout, and clean silhouette, it draws obvious comparison to the iPhone 17 Pro. Fortunately, it wears that inspiration well. Rather than feeling like a copycat, the phone comes across as polished and premium, especially for its class.
Despite packing a massive 7000mAh battery, the HONOR 600 remains impressively slim at just 7.8mm and 190g. It feels balanced in the hand, while the matte metal frame adds a level of refinement that helps it stand out from the plastic-heavy competition. The curved edges also make prolonged use more comfortable.
Durability is equally impressive, with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings alongside SGS 5-star drop and crush resistance certification, making this one of the toughest midrange phones on the market.
HONOR offers the 600 in black, golden white, and orange, but the latter doesn’t quite live up to its promise. The color looks far more subdued in real life than it does in photos, trading boldness for a safer, almost pastel-like finish.
Camera
The HONOR 600’s camera setup is headlined by a 200MP main sensor, and for the most part, it delivers. Photos come out sharp, detailed, and pleasingly consistent, even when lighting isn’t perfect. Exposure is generally well-controlled, shutter response is quick enough for everyday moments, and portrait mode does a decent job of separating subjects from the background.
The accompanying 12MP ultrawide camera is useful to have, though image quality takes a noticeable step down compared to the main shooter. Video recording is capped at 4K 30fps for both the front and rear cameras.
Then there’s AI Image-to-Video 2.0, arguably the phone’s biggest talking point. Personally, I’m starting to feel some AI fatigue, so I wasn’t exactly rushing to animate every photo in my gallery. That said, I can absolutely see the appeal. HONOR’s latest version is significantly better than before, giving users the choice between free-form prompts, preset templates, or a fully automated ‘No Prompt’ mode.
Clips take around two to four minutes to generate, and while the results can still be unpredictable, they’re often entertaining enough to justify the wait. Display and audio
If you spend a lot of time watching videos or scrolling through social media, the HONOR 600 won’t disappoint. Its 6.57-inch AMOLED display offers a sharp 2728 x 1264 resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 8,000 nits of peak HDR brightness.
The thin, even bezels make content feel more immersive, while the 120Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling and animations feeling smooth throughout the interface.
The smartphone comes with stereo speakers that get plenty loud for casual use like watching videos or listening to podcasts. Dialogue is clear and easy to follow at higher volumes. However, the sound profile leans a bit flat, lacking the depth and bass presence needed for a more engaging music experience.
Performance and battery
Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and for most people, that translates to smooth everyday use—apps open quickly, scrolling is responsive, and multitasking feels stable. You also get up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, which should be more than enough for long-term use.
The 7000mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day even with heavy use. It charges quickly via 80W wired SuperCharge and even supports 27W reverse charging. The only real downside is the lack of wireless charging.

Priced at P25,999 for the 8+256GB variant (goes up to P37,999 for the 12GB+512GB), the HONOR 600 lands as a well-balanced midrange option that focuses on the essentials while adding a bit of personality. It delivers smooth everyday performance, reliable cameras, and standout battery life. While not built for flagship-level power, it handles daily tasks with ease and consistency. The AI features also give it a fun, creative edge that helps it stand out in a crowded segment.
